Description: 1776 North Carolina deed tryon county. Looks to be two different deeds . The one on top says in open court which fits the time frame of no courthouse yet. Tryon county was split into Lincoln and rurtedford county in 1778. I believe signature is Andrew Neel who was register of county and a signer of tryon county resolves. The resolves was a document to fight the kings rule over tryon county. This preceded the Declaration of Independence. A great historical piece. Any information on this piece is appreciated.
