This Auction is for a 1913 Edition 3 volume set of the book - "A HISTORY OF MONTANA" by Helen Fitzgerald Sanders and published by LEWIS Publishing These books are getting old (111 years) and the bindings on all 3 are starting to show their age, however the pages are still bound tight and haven't yellowed at all. When taking the pictures I noticed brown dust coming off the bindings so they are probably due for some restoration work. Volume 1 has a 2" binding tear from the top and Volume 3 has one about 5" long, Volume 2 had no tears. All 3 hardcover bindings show wear with original color and gloss flaking off. Overall the books remarkably remain in pretty nice shape. They contain all pages & pictures and the interiors are still tight and very white. No odors (besides old paper) can be detected. No staining or bug damage & no missing pieces or pages.
