All the plates are present. The dust jacket is missing the spine panel as well as some edge pieces. Please view ALL posted photos. The pastedown on the front cover is very good. The endpapers are still very good. A few pages have some edge staining, and there's a tear with loss on the Contents page. But overall clean and sound. No previous owners' names or bookplates. Not ex-library. There are 339 numbered pages. Size is approximately 7 by 9 1/2 inches. It's a good copy for anyone interested in the Scribner's series of children's classics or Maxfield Parrish. I believe the starting bid is barely more than most of modern reprint editions. Please ask any questions you may have; I'd be happy to answer. Well wrapped and securely boxed.
