Card fronts have a small black-and-white player photo, with player's name and vital statistics below the likeness in a white border. The game outcomes are printed on the card backs, which were printed in red and black on white card stock, with the player’s name in red ink at the top of the card. The set is anchored by such Hall of Fame talent as Hank Aaron, Lou Brock, Ernie Banks, Rod Carew, Roberto Clemente, Reggie Jackson, Harmon Killebrew, Juan Marichal, Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Phil Niekro, Frank Robinson, and Tom Seaver.Santo and Ferguson are missing.
