Description: GT has always had a certain style of chainring, frame, crank, and stem. The piston stems that they put out in the 90’s are sexy af. I enjoy restoring anything old school or vintage because before I was a Flight Nurse and a father I was building ramps out of dirt and jumping jumps. Some of these bikes/parts are actual works of art and preserving or restoring them gives the younger generation a chance to appreciate what we grew up surrounded by. Cool stuff This stem started a little rough but no major surface imperfections or deep scratches. I worked out what issues there were then sanded, buffed and polished till I achieved all she had to give me. The stem looks fantastic and as always she gets 1 coat of polish before it’s sent to its new home. 90% of the parts I source are rider quality but need a little bit of help getting back the luster they once had. I take these parts and restore them to like new condition without compromising brand integrity or functionality. All the parts I source for clients or restore work as they should.
