Description: This is a pair of metal sculptures by Norman Brumm (1938 - 2008) The bird figure appears to be a sparrow--possibly a tree sparrow. Mr. Brunn specialized in portraying the birds of Michigan The bird is hollow but fashioned so as to appear almost solid. Each sculpture features bright golden flowers that I believe are Marsh Marigolds.They are each mounted on natural pieces of wood.
