Usually scanning problems are confined to color pictures but today it's "advanced" to black and white! (You will note that the second scan (reverse side of the card) exhibits none of these problems.)Offered for your consideration is . . . #5 - LEON "GOOSE" GOSLIN ~ Detroit Tigers & longtime Hall of Fame member Original 1978 regional card promoting 1978 & 1979 Dearborn [Michigan] Baseball Card & Sports Memorabilia Show A set of 18 Detroit Tiger Favorites cards in slightly-larger-than-standard 2-5/8" by 3-5/8" size was issued by the promoters of Dearborn Baseball Card & Sports Memorabilia Show in 1978-1979. A second set of 18 different cards was issued in 1979-1980 advertising subsequent Dearborn, Michigan shows. Greater Detroit was a hotbed of hobby activity in those days. By 1981, a small group of promoters of a competing Detroit area show, (the Midwest Sports Collectors Show), had secured the second annual National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) for the Motor City. Cards of this size fit in 8-pocket collector pages designed for pre-1957 Topps, Bowman and Big League Collectibles cards. ANY number of single cards (up to and including 8" X 10" in size) will be shipped for the single card USPS Ground Advantage shipping rate if the buyer requests and waits for a combined invoice before paying.
