Description: Adams Calyx Ware tea cup only in the popular Lowestoft floral pattern in light turquoise with rose border detail and deep yellow rim. Cup measures approx. 3 1/2" in diameter (4 1/4" wide to outside of handle) and 2 3/8" high. (Note this cup and two others just like it that also are available in this listing are the smallest size of all of the Lowestoft cups that I have listed.) Made in England. Marked on underside in older red printed backstamp showing Est. 1657, maker's name in logo, England, Calyx Ware, Hand Painted, and (pattern number) 2087. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks. A lovely vintage tea cup in a floral pattern no longer in production from a maker no longer in operation, so here's a source to start or add to a collection, to replace a broken or missing cup, or to give as a cherished vintage gift!
