Description: Beautiful Japanese Imari Porcelain Plate with Foo Dog, Bamboo and Flower Pattern. Traditional underglaze blue center motif with varying patterns in rusty red, green with gold gilt. This plate is in very good condition all around, although is showing normal wear of the gold gilt around the rim. See pics for any irregularities in color that come with hand-painting. Measures 9 1/4" Round x 1 3/16" H. Solid, Heavy, Quality Porcelain. No Chips or Cracks. Has the six character Wanli Mark on the back which dates this piece 1800's Meiji Period. I DO have one more identical plate in the same great condition that I will put up once this one sells and several more that have been repaired. Was part of a large set from an estate, but too many were damaged to put together. Thanks for looking!!
