Description: This antique Seth Thomas mantle clock is a beautiful addition to any collection. The clock features a mechanical key wound movement and a power source of key. It has a brown color and is made of wood, brass, and glass. The vintage clock is in running condition and chimes every half hour with a dong . The clock display is analog and it has a pendulum/moving parts, wind up, and 8-day features. The clock is an original piece from the early 20th century (1911-1940) and has a mahogany finish. The clock was manufactured in the United States and has a frame material of wood. It's a great collectible item for any clock enthusiast. I sanded the original wood case and refinished it in light walnut/mahogany stain. I had to put in new screw all over it because the old ones were rusted and broken. The little pads on the bottom are how you level the clock. Screw all four left or right until level. This clock is really picky about being level. Your idea of level and the clocks will likely be different. In this case- the clock will win. I cleaned the mechanism and oiled it lightly with synthetic oil. The clock comes with the key. I had the clock going several times and it keeps accurate time and songs on the half hour and on the hour. I’ve been working on this clock for about three years. I’m kind of sick of it and finally got it looking and running decently so I want it gone. * This item is antique and therefore very old. I will not take any returns on it.
