Description: Comic Book Grab Bags! Please read this whole listing before bidding. Buy Two, 2nd (and all others) ships free. AKA you pay to ship the first one, then there's no additional shipping after that. I did something like this a few years ago and it was fun and buyers liked it. It took a while to buy up some good keys and inventory to be able to do it again, so here we go! What you are buying are FOUR (4) comics: Three of them will be mostly modern, average VF/NM or better, and will be books you will recognize. Batman, Superman, JLA, X-Men, Wolverine, DC, Marvel, Image (Spawn, Walking Dead, Savage Dragon, etc.), Vertigo make up at least 90% of the books, with a few IDW, Dark Horse, Dynamite and maybe a random Valiant mixed in. These will be books that you will know, with characters you've read before. These will be cool, good books. The fourth comics in every lot will contain ONE (1) BONUS comic from this list. The book will be randomly inserted, there is no way to request a specific book.A Variant cover from Marvel, DC, Image, etc. This could be any 1:8, 1:10, 1:15, 1:25, 1:50, 1:100 or 1:1000 variant cover edition. A Skottie Young variant coverA J Scott Campbell VariantAn "Action Figure" variant coverA retailer exclusive or retailer incentive coverAn alternate printing, convention exclusive, or some other alternate version of a bookA book signed by a popular creator (some with COAs, some not)A remarked book (signed and sketched) by a popular artistAn enhanced, holographic cover edition of a book (Fatal Attractions, 3-D lenticular, etc.)A blank cover / sketch cover variantA specially inserted CGC, PGX or CBCS book (The size would be a giveaway, so I made little coupons. Contact me if you get one and I'll then send the graded book at my expense). May or may not be any of the books shown in the pictures, but all will be 8.5 or higher grade. No restored or qualified graded book though, just good old all-american universal, modern, or maybe signed/witnessed/verified books etc. Or one of these "named" or key books: Batman Adventures #12 (First Harley Quinn)Amazing Spider-Man #48 (First Vulture - Blackie Drago)Amazing Spider-Man #210 (First Madame Web)Amazing Spider-Man #300 (First full Venom)Amazing Spider-Man #360 (First Carnage)Amazing Spider-Man #361, #362 or #363 (First Three Carnage)Miles Morales #13 -- First Billie MoralesAmazing Spider-Man #365 (Holo Cover, first Spider-man 2099)Spider-Man #1 (1990) Could be any cover, bagged.Key or Silver/Bronze age Marvels (Avengers, Daredevil, Iron Man, X-Men, others) Venom : Lethal Defender #1 (Red Foil cover)Daredevil #181 (Death of Elektra)Daredevil #196 (vs. Wolverine)New Mutants #98 (First Deadpool)Avengers Annual #10 (First Rogue)Batgirl Adventures #1Hulk #182X-Men #244 (First Jubilee)X-Men #266 (First Gambit)X-Men #282 & #283 (First Bishop)X-Men annual #14 (First Gambit Cameo)Star Wars #42 (First Boba Fett Cover)Birds of Prey #8 (Nightwing/Barbara Gordon date)Harley Quinn #1 (2000)Batman Adventures : Mad Love (Origin of Harley Quinn)Spider-Woman #1 (1978)Silver Surfer #1 (1987)Web of Spider-Man #1Spectacular Spider-Man #1X-Factor #1X-Factor #24 (First Archangel)Excalibur #1Omega Men #3 (First Lobo)Sandman #1 (1974, Jack Kirby!)Hellblazer #1New Mutants #1Hulk #340 (Hulk and Wolverine fight by McFarlane)Wolverine #1 (1988 series)Wolverine #10 (Wolverine / Sabertooth fight)Wolverine Mini-series #1, 2, 3 or 4Superman : The Man of Steel #18 (First Doomsday)X-Factor #6 (First Apocalypse)A Signed J Scott Campbell book with COASecret Wars #8 (Black suit Spider-Man)Crisis #1Many others!BONUS: Random bags will contain all four books being variants, signed or special/key books. All of the "named" books will be in 6.0+ condition. Almost all are 8.5+ but some older silver age keys may be more towards mid-grade.Note that I'm not too bright, so I took some of the pictures after I started making bags up so just because the pics show a book to be signed or a newstand, etc. doesn't necessarily mean the grab bag one is too. It may be, just noting this as it's come up before. Again, there is no way to request a specific book. Other notes:1. Buy one, second one ships free! Shipping capped at $7.99 for one or 100.2. Internationally, I use the Global Shipping program. That means you pay two shipping charges, one to me, one to eBay. I can't control what eBay charges you, but you will never pay more than $7.99 for the first leg of the shipping.3. If you get overcharged for shipping when you check-out, I'll refund the difference. FAQ:Q: "Hey, I want Amazing #300 (or other book you may be interested in), how about you send me that bag?"A: All bags are pre-made. There's boxes and boxes of stock. Three random books are pulled from there. The box of the key and variants and such has 300+ books in it. It's facing backwards. A book in blindly pulled from that box, then the envelope in sealed up. Not only does no one know what's in each one, no one knows what you are getting. This is fun and truly blind on both ends. Other than what the listing text says, I have no clue or control of the books you're getting. All I do know is that 200 bags were made up. Beyond that until someone post in their feedback what they got or messages me to tell me, I have no idea. Some or sold locally and those people usually buy them as Christmas or other presents or for their kids or spouse and don't open them right away. Sometime I see them at future shows a month or two later and they'll tell me what they got but otherwise I have no clue. Q: "What is the value of each bag? If I spend $28, I expect to get more than that in value".A: See above. Not only is this blind, the value of any book ranges based on ebay sales, store sales or convention sale values. What you may think is a $10-20 bag, someone else might value at $50. If every bag was worth $500+, I'd lose money. There's fees and a lot of cost and time into these. My goal is to give you good value and a chance at a higher dollar book and most importantly to have fun. You know, the thrill of the chase!anyone asking this question need to go into a local store with a losing lottery ticket and explain to them that you spent a dollar on the ticket and expected to win the Poweball but lost so you want your dollar back....someone did win, many won something, you just didn't this time. The last time I did this 200 bags sold and 1 person was upset. They bough two bags and didn't get the Batman Adventures #12 they wanted so demanded a refund. I have eBay on speed dial. This is a mystery bag auction. Q: "How do I know what people have already won and what's left?"A: You don't and I don't. Here's some things I did to keep it interesting this time.A few of the keys I bought multiples. Just because someone posts that they won a book you have your eye on doesn't mean there isn't a second one in play still. Q: "Why is there other random stuff in my bag?" or "Why are these more than four books" or similar question.A: The CGC bags just have a certificate so the weight would be off if someone were comparing them, so the certificate has a random book tossed in to make the bag feel the same as the others. I also sometime add a card or small sketch, poster, print, or some other promo item I have laying around just for fun, and it helps me clear some room and make it harder to people to try and guess the weight like somehow heavier book are worth more or something. If this were true, I'd get rich off of the old BlackHawk DC series. Super heavy, worth a few cents each. Weight isn't the way to make purchasing decision. Just saying... Q: "I opened my bag and I don't like what I got, I'm returning it" or the "I'm leaving negative feedback" version.A: If this is your plan, don't buy from me. I talk to eBay all the time and have asked them about this. This behavior will be reported and you will be blocked and eBay may take further action on your account. This is a blind grab bag. You will get exactly what the listing describes. Q: "I was bought some and wanted to buy more, but the listing is closed. I thought there were 200 bags for sale?"A: Yup. I sell these locally at conventions sometimes too. If a hundred sell locally, then this listing gets ended. There's just 200. 'Nuff said! Q: "Why does my bag have things written on it?" A: I write random things on them. "Good luck!" is my standard, but I get bored and who knows what you'll get. If you're really unlucky, you'll get one that I've tried to sketch something on. While my comic art was published, it's not good and I urge you to throw the plastic envelope in your recycling bin immediately after opening it. The world doesn't need to see any more of my art. Standard listing terms: Look at my feedback as a seller if you have any questions. See my other auctions to combine shipping. Usually about 50 cents each additional comic.Media mail is not allowed for comics, and we never use it unless allowed (trades, etc. allowed per USPS rules). Large lots may go priority, parcel post or other package method if weight is over 1st class limits. Don't just check once at my other listings and move on either. I'll be listing books throughout the next few weeks, so no excuses! Buyer feedback appreciated. Give feedback and get feedback. I just picked up a huge Silver age collection so that'll will be posted throughout the next few weeks. Payment due within 3 days of auction closing. Anything over get you bad karma, bad feedback, and if I ever see you face to face, the worst stink eye I can muster at the time. We've recently bought so many lots, collections, and frankly, I'm so far behind that my desk looks like something that you'd see on a hoarding show. I'm limited to moving my mouse in this little square left open between the piles of books, and I'm losing my mind. If you'd read some of my other listings, I'm sure you'd agree. So, I still have a ton of single issues, variants, sets, posters, cards, etc. to list, so here we go. I need to get them posted soon, or bring cats into the office and become that crazy cat guy. No one wants that... Read the "About me" page if you have insomnia. Foreign orders, insurance, refrigerated packaging, war zones, hand delivery or other requests should be asked prior to auction closing. I try to accommodate what I can.
