Description: This pre-owned Cyma Navystar Chronometer is a very rare early example of the model, a cool wristwatch with its original NSA bracelet that works well but is on the smaller size (extra links are always available on eBay) All original stainless steel bracelet and case. The watch features a tonneau/barrel shape, smooth fixed bezel, and a polished case finish. The dial is silver in colour with baton indexes and a date indicator, it’s aged and “patinated” but original . The watch is water-resistant and has a self-winding movement with a 12-hour dial and the all important chronometer rated movement. This vintage watch was manufactured between 1960-1969 and has 21 jewels with a very unusual high beat chronometer lever escapement. The watch is handmade and comes with a screwback caseback. It is not customised and does not come with papers, service records, or original box/packaging. The watch is a great addition to any collection and is perfect for men who appreciate unusual quality watches. Working but in need of a service and refurbishment but a wonderfully original example of a very rare watch from a brand that is still very undervalued but people are starting to take notice.
