You will need basic tools and knowledge to remove interior panels, test wires, and properly connect to those wires. Parts wise you do not need anything else we include everything. How long will installation take? It would take an expert installer about an hour. It would take a novice installer or a handy DIYer 2 - 4 hours. We are here to help if you run into any problems! You should be somewhat comfortable working with wiring and using a multimeter to complete this. If not, you would be better off having a pro install this kit for you.
