Description: Handmade by a child back in the 1960s this set of paper dolls and wardrobe outfits is an amazing and creative relic of childhood. The child's cover sheet to the vintage paper doll collection states there are "6 dolls with 78 costumes for every season." One doll has been lost over time as well as six costumes leaving five dolls and 72 outfits. The paper clothing is quite creative and colorful including costumes for Halloween, outfits for the beach, gardening, sports, school, and winter. Each doll and costume was hand drawn and then colored by the artist. The dolls are named Lavinia, Malcolm, Sharon, Ceclia, and Donald. Each costume is marked with a letter that corresponds to one of the dolls. There are baby styled costumes marked "N" for the missing doll. These are genuine vintage paper dolls and costumes. They have been stored for many years in the plastic protectors as shown in the listing photographs and are well preserved. The tallest doll measures about 5 1/4" tall.
