Unlike other boards, this board exceeds high voltage trace spacing requirements of 0.1 inch per 1000 volt gradient between open (non-masked) pads and traces. This ensures long life and freedom from carbon tracking or metering instability. Further, this board is a letter-for-letter label and exact wire location replica of the OEM Heathkit board. You can follow the OEM Heathkit pictorial and instructions exactly. This board moves the high-voltage "fusing" to the positive side. It fully clamps the meters for high-voltage faults. This board uses standard resistor values for metering. Instead of unusual shunt and multiplier values, this board uses standard precision parts. If you have or ever have to use non-OEM meters (we can repair or supply meters) a simple change to three 1/4 watt resistors will recalibrate this board. This board will work with any meter movement between 25 uA up to 1 mA and 350mV full-scale movements. This board is shipped dead-on calibration if you have good OEM Heathkit meter movements.
