Description: Three 11-inch Majolica dinner plates hand-painted from Artistica, circa 1990. These were purchased as part of a large table service from La Tavola in Seattle, an authorized Artistica importer. They made a number of moves without ever being used, and on the last move the movers dropped a crate and many pieces were broken. These are untouched by the accident. There is no utensil damage but very light marks from one plate sitting on another. There is one tiny (2 mm) chip on one plate but the clear coat of the original paint covers it so it was an original chip painted over -- majolica artists typically didn't worry about that kind of thing and it's very frequent.
