The pieces are made of a durable plastic material and they have felted bases. Our sets come standard with two queens in each color. The kings are 3 3/4” tall and have a 1 1/2” base. This entire set weighs just over 2 pounds. This set also comes with a 20” (inch) chess board that is made from vinyl. It is lightweight but extremely durable. It can fold or roll up easily and has clear, legible algebraic notation on all sides. It has 2 1/4" squares and meets all chess tournament standards. **Shipping Note** Due to recent USPS changes these sets will no longer ship in boxes with the boards rolled up. Instead they will ship folded unless specifically requested for an additional charge. The additional shipping cost will increase by $15.50 per set (not including listed charges).
