Pair Antique Majolica Huge Pitchers Ewers Vases Reticulated Numbered 73B 13 In

Description: This is a magnificent matched pair of antique majolica pitchers. They are substantial in size at 13 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I am quite sure they are European but exact country I do not know. My guess is French. They are skillfully glazed in baroque floral patterns and also decorated with small painted flowers and leaves. It is further accented with gold. The condition is remarkable for there age. The "left" one has a small old chip on the inside of the lip. You can see this in picture and of what it looks like from the exterior. There is a manufacturers crack in reticulated section but is only on the interior. Drying issue? The "right" pitcher is in excellent condition with flaw on the handle. It is a small crack that does not go through. See in picture. Numbered on the bottom 73B and another B. Spectacular mantle set.
