Description: I have for your consideration a 1896 Engraved Russian Double Eagle Kiddush / Vodka Cup. It is engraved on the back and dated Dec. 29, 1986. On the front, surrounding the double eagle it is also engraved. Unfortunately, I used to have the translation but not able to find it. I do remember it making this an important item. If anyone out there can help, please do. Marked 84, which is the silver standard mark. The makers mark is "MT", could be Michael Takkinen? The assayer mark A.A is for Anatolii Apollonovich Astsibashev. The figural mark I believe identifies Moscow or Moskow. Cup is in very good condition. No visible dents only surface scratches. The interior still retains some of its gilt. Measures 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" in diameter. Please view the 11 photos provided for a closer look as they serve as the most important part of the description. Please excuse any glare or reflections. Please e-mail any questions you may have about this item before auction closes or before bidding. Once payment has been posted, package is usually shipped same day or next business day. Returns are not accepted, so please do ask ask ask questions before bidding.
