POCKET KNIFE: Vintage BARLOW 2 Blade Folding Knife, Imperials Providence, RI

Description: Offering a preowned Barlow folding knife. Knife states that is an Imperials Providence RI.Knife has 2 straight plain blades. Knife has standard slipjoint folding mechanism. Handle is made of plastic riveted onto the stainless steel body of the knife.Handle has cracked and some is missing. See photos. Blades are steel, have pointy ends, fit nicely within their slots of the body, and work as they should. Plastic sides are held to knife with 2 rivets on each side. Plastic is an off white or ivory color accented with brown lines on top. Blades have cut outs designed to assist you with the opening of the knife. Approximate measurements: Folding with knife shielded 3 1/4" long and at its widest 1" wide. Open with knife fully extended with longest blade is about 5.75" long.With shortest blade fully extended, length is about 5" long Longer blade by itself is about 2.5 " long and about 5/8" wide.Shorter blade by itself is about 1 5/8" long and about 3/8" wide. Guessing knife age to be anywhere from the 1960's to the 1980's as this was my father-in-law's knife and that was when he was most actively working. Some wear and tear. In addition to the already mentioned cracked and missing handle, there are some marks, dings, tarnish / dulling of the end metal. Blades are dull stainless steel with no issues that I could see. Opens and closes as it should.Could benefit from a thorough cleaning and sharpening. Please see photos for more details regarding appearance and condition. Thanks for looking.
