This audio/video mixer can perform wipes, fades, and picture-in-picture on two composite or S-video sources. Today, it has become a very popular piece of "old school" gear, and a quick Google search will reveal several modern mods that can expand many of these effects! This version has the RCA jacks, not the BNC connectors on other versions. The WJ-AVE5 weighs in at just under 6 lbs and measures 11" x 3-5/8" x 16-1/2" wide! The Free Shipping is for the Lower 48 only, HI & AK must select USPS Priority shipping at checkout! Insurance & Signature are covered on us! Paid items can be picked up in the Denver Metro area at no charge. Condition:This beautiful mixer is in "Very Good" condition with minor signs of use! Aside from a few scuffs to the base and 2 replaced fader caps, there are a few light control panel scuffs, most too faint to make out well in the pics. All the original knobs are present & complete, with the exception of two of the fader caps that had gone missing. This is a very common issue with these mixers, but we pulled out out "Tub o' knobs" and were able to find two that fit nicely, although slightly lighter & bigger than the originals. The original feet are present & complete as is the attached AC cord.. The manual has gone missing, but no worries, it's available online or we will send you the PDF file directly on request. Please examine all the pictures thoroughly for actual condition. Service: There were no issues found with this workstation, still we cleaned the CD drive optics and all faders have been treated with DeoxIT F5, specifically designed to both clean & lubricate fader controls. Testing:We set this system up on our test bench and it performed impressively with no issues! It produced clean, distortion-free audio with no hum or buzz. All switches, functions and indicators work correctly and all line/mic inputs and outputs have been confirmed operational. A short track was created and stored, then loaded and played back with no issues. The CD player was also tested with several discs and exhibited no skipping at all. Further testing was done, if there is a particular function you would like to know more about just let us know before buying.
