Rare & Hard to find Izariyama itself these days ! Water absorption is very good, The feeling of sharpening with Izariyama is smoother & quicker than Aoto, it means strong abrasive power. The backside is concaved but the flat area somehow secured. Better set it on the wet towel or base for avoiding wobbling. Apart from the sharpening face, sealed lightly. Please note that these are not for beginner sharpeners since they're harder to use.These are natural stones meaning that every single one of them are different so my measured size are not accurate.
