Description: LONGINES REF 3733 This rare and unique masterpiece was made by Longines for the Ostersetzer company on February 18, 1932. They were Longines agents in Italy in the 1930s. As shown in the Longines archives. The unusual large Tank / rectangular case with curved sides is made of 800 silver with hinged lugs, which were not very common in Longines wristwatches at that time (the silver case has small aging marks). Serial number: 5152854. Reference number: 3733 The watch comes with an original white dial with beautiful exaggerated Arabic numerals (dial shows normal signs of age and patina). The watch is powered by a cal 10.26 hand wind movement, serial number: 5152854, the watch runs keeping very good time (don't expect precision like quartz watches).Original mineral glass crystal with normal signs of age.The watch fitted by a Swiss made old vintage crocodile open end strap from the 1930/40'sSize: Oversized 48mm lug to lug - Case only: 32.2mm x 26.2mm excluding crown.
