Description: Rare Vintage Los Angeles Pottery/N.S. Gustin Company "Holly" Christmas Dinnerware. Each item is priced individually. Pattern Description: Laurie Gates, Pink Holly Berries with Green Leaves, Pink Ribbons, Green Trim. Made in the U.S.A. Discontinued from unknown dates of manufacture. Most famous for the Cookie Cookie Jar, Los Angeles Pottery produced artware and pottery from the 1940's until the 1980's. Los Angeles Pottery is also known as Los Angeles Potteries, LA Pottery, N.S. Gustin, DesignCraft, and Laurie Gates. Some of the items do not have a printed Maker's Mark. These were likely pieces that originally had the N.S. Gustin adhesive mark that has now been removed. Condition: Generally in very good vintage condition. Expect light utensil marks and light shelf wear. Due to the fragile nature of this type of pottery, many pieces have flea bite chips or scuffs at the rims. Some of these have been painted to attempt to match the green trim by previous owners.
