ON OCTOBER 6TH HE FOUND HIS WAY BACK. RETURNING TO HIS UNIT IN BINARVILLE FRANCE ON OCTOBER 7 THEN CONTINUING ON WITH THE 308TH INFANTRY REGIMENT HEADQUARTERS COMPANY THROUGH THE REST OF THE WAR.
