Description: For sale is a beautiful and great sounding Sansui G-8700DB stereo receiver. The unit has a few small cosmetic marks or scratches but nothing too bad and from looking at it from a few feet away the unit looks new. I will not risk damaging the unit with shipping so, local pickup only! It just got out of the shop. All transistors on left channel were blown and replaced and the protection circuit was fixed along with a few other small parts. Everything works on the unit and all the switches and knobs were cleaned and lubed. The AM/FM ic frequency chip was faulty so I replaced it with a working chip out of a Sansui T-80 tuner and added a 40 pin ic chip adapter so if the chip goes bad again down the road it can be easily replaced with just taking off the top cover.
