Description: Sansui G-9000 — RESTORED/TESTED/VERIFIED For sale is a Sansui G-9000 receiver, built in Japan in 1978. The receiver has been restored, cleaned and tested. The work performed is listed below. The G-9000 is a rated at 160 watts per channel. In reality it produces over 190 watts per channel at clipping. The refurbishment is detailed below. This receiver was purchased in average cosmetic condition. Every effort has been made to improve the cosmetic condition including cleaning and a new veneer on the cabinet (real walnut finished with Danish oil.) However, scratches on the top chrome and side rails could not be remedied (pictured). There is also a scratch on the front glass which is pictured. The receiver has been extensively tested and all functionality confirmed. This amplifier will provide another 40 years of sound performance.
