Description: For sale here is a US WW2 Transportation Corps Enlisted OD Barathea Wool Garrison Overseas Hat Cap. This is made of OD Barathea wool and has red and yellow piping for Transport Corps. The body is in excellent condition and is about as nice as you will find. The piping also shows very minimal wear and soiling. Inside, the cap is lined in brown faux silk and has a supple leather sweatband. There are no maker's markings or size tags, but it fits like a 7 1/8. There are no owner markings in the cap. This cap is made from barathea wool and the lining appears more British false silk rather than US satin. A great looking variant theater made cap.
