Vintage 1950's 50s Strapless PINK Beaded Tulle Lace Party Prom Wedding Dress

Description: Description An enchanting strapless number in an ethereal confection of cascading layers of baby pink tulle and floral lace. What a statement this would make at the next prom season – any girl wearing this creation would definitely be the belle of the ball ! It is also lovely enough to be worn as a wedding dress – definitely worthy of a very special occasion. No maker’s label remains but the remnant of a style tag confirms that this dress was commercially made. No fabric contents label but this is likely a synthetic blend. Note the details on this stunning gown – the (boned) form fitting lace bodice trimmed in tiers of tulle and accented with rhinestones, sweetheart neckline, and of course the full twirling skirt with cascading tiers of pink tulle also randomly decorated with rhinestones. There are three layers to this skirt – a lining of pink acetate, a middle single layer of baby pink tulle, topped with an outer layer of the same tiered pink tulle. This dress closes down the rear with a metal zipper and fastener. The entire dress is lined in pink satin acetate. The dress is photographed using a crinoline to show the skirt to full advantage – the crinoline is not included. No vintage size label, so please see measurements below for a proper fit. This is a very wearable small to medium size that would best fit a modern size 4 or 6. Measurements Bust – 33-34” Waist – 25-26” Hips – full Length – 49.5” Torso length – 10.5” (strapless – waist to bustline) Skirt length - 39" (waist to hem) Condition This dress is in very good vintage condition. No stains and underarms are clean. No obvious breaks in the lace bodice. There are several small breaks in the lower tulle skirt and several stitch repairs on the lower two tiers. These repairs were done with invisible thread and are not glaring but should be noted. The price reflects this minor damage.
