Description: Up for sale is a beautiful, likely hand-painted trinket box. The box is shaped as a chair, wherein the exterior of the box features colorful flowers and bows, and the interior of the box features a purple and yellow flower. A five petal flower forms the center clasp. Approximately 2 inches tall. Please note the signature on the bottom states “Limoges China”, but this is not a Limoges box that originated in Limoges France. Rather, the trinket box is a Limoges box REPRODUCTION, and thus is sold as a trinket box in Limoges box style. Again, this box did NOT originate it Limoges France. The box is in good vintage condition. I made the following observations: There are no signs of cracks, or repairs. There is a small chip on one of the front feet of the chair (see photo #14 and photo #18, front right foot). It stands fine with the chip, and it is not noticeable when the box is on display. The gold/brass has minimal to no tarnishing/discoloration. There is a bit of sticker residue on the bottom of the box. The center clasp secures the box closed well. I have made every attempt to describe any flaw, feature, or issue that would result in the box being considered less than perfect to you as a buyer. Please view the photos thoroughly and ask any and all questions prior to purchase. I try to have as much transparency as possible when selling items. I have not made any attempts to clean the box other than wiping each with a damp microfiber. I have not and will not attempt to adjust any hinges, clasps, or loose closures. I only accept returns in the time frame listed herein, and only when the box is in the exact same condition the box was in when sold (I.e. has not been cleaned, adjusted, or altered in any way by the buyer).
