Description: This is a super fantastic Vintage Mountain Goat / Markhor, Antler Carving, signed Pernell Laate / Zuni. This piece was meticulously carved from the Antler of a Big Horned Animal, perhaps a Moose or Elk. The details are incredibly fine and intricate, from the horns to the fur, and those Birds!!! A fantastic object. There is a price written in black ink on the bottom, most likely the original seller price, it will lighten with a gentle swipe of alcohol on a soft rag, though not sure it will disappear totally.
