Description: Vernon Kilns was a company in Vernon California. These plates were made between 1942 to 1953 and are called the Chintz pattern. They are very mid-century modern with beautiful floral designs. They did quite a few patterns with California and desert flowers that could easily match this pattern. Such as Mayfloer and Desert Bloom. Metlox was the designer of the ceramic plate pattern. Many other folks on selling platforms have matching dishes and teacups. These are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Note that the hand painting was done under the glaze which kept it all very shiny and colorful. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: 10.25” across diameter1.25” tall PRE-OWNED - Item is in great pre-owned condition showing no cracks, scratches, utensil marks or repairs. There is one small chip on back of plate. Colors are crisp. Please see pictures for more details.
